dapper darling.

I was so lucky to be asked to do pictures last month of my cousins sweet little boy, Colton, as he turned 6 months old.  He was an absolute doll!

His darling sister, Maddie, joined in for a few family shots with her brother as well as mom and dad.  I have a pretty good looking family if I say so myself :)

Mom had done some research and knew she wanted to try out this tie shot.  What a great idea!

He was a bit upset about sitting in the grass, but he warmed back up quickly.  I just love his sad little face.  Still so handsome even when he cries!

baby nose and twinkle toes.

As some of you may know, I am an independant photographer for Bella Baby.  Its a job that I truely love.  It combines 2 of my absolute favorite things, babies and photography.  What more could a girl ask for?!? I have had quite a few favorite shots over the past 9 months of working there but I had a baby the other day that was just perfect.  From his little baby nose down to his sweet little toes that so daintly held on to his parents wedding rings for the perfect shot. 

sunshine kisses.

I thought for awhile about what I would like my first posting to be about.  What represents me, as a photographer?  What am I about?  One word came to mind. Sunshine!  Now, I am not your typical summer girl.  I love sunscreen and all things shaded, but a bit of sunshine on the face of a loved one can touch your heart in a way you can't begin to describe.  Step behind the lens of a camera and capture that moment and it is something you can truely treasure for a lifetime. 

Let me play in the sunshine.

Let me sing for joy.

Let me grow in the light.

Let me splash in the rain, and remember the days of childhood forever.
